What is AMA?
The architect community in Myanmar first founded and officially registered the Institute of Burmese Architects (IBA) in 1961-62. But when the then Government banned the establishment of parties and organizations in 1963, the IBA was abolished.
Professional Regulatory Committee (PRC)
A governing committee was formed in July 2005 with 19 members comprising patron architects, architects from government agencies and academic fields, selected EC members, and a few practicing architects.
